(Click to enlarge image) The New York Hotel Trades Council is the largest direct provider in New York City of health benefits to union membership, retirees and dependents. With facilities in Manhattan and Queens, a Brooklyn location was sought and purchased in the borough’s cultural district. Designed by Francis Cauffman in a teardrop shape with a textured glass façade, the 12-story and 177-foot tall mixed-use building will also feature offices, retail space and public amenities.
