Headquarters Interior Architecture (Click to enlarge image) When GSK established a new Consumer Healthcare joint venture with Novartis, Francis Cauffman was engaged for the relocation and consolidation of its U.S. headquarters to house a cross-functional mix of employees. The Francis Cauffman team embraced the GSK vision, creating a transformative workplace that would enable employees to provide new and better everyday healthcare products to meet consumers' needs. A fundamental design principle was the provision of natural light into all occupied spaces, as well as the ability to view the exterior. At the centerpiece of the state-of-the-art facility is the shopper science lab. Utilizing leading shopper insight tools and technologies, GSK employees can understand how and why shoppers make decisions and what influences their choices. In addition, the use of color had a large impact on the design, enhancing the space and creating the energy and buzz GSK was looking for.
