Project: Design and Consultation Services for Renovation
Site: Beekman Tower Hotel

GC Eng was hired by the previous owner of the Beekman Tower Hotel to support the renovation of the lobby alongside the architect. The project was accomplished through three stages, which involved preliminary concept and scope, furnishing construction documents, and providing construction support services.
Our firm conducted studies and provided designs for these systems:
HVAC
Electrical and fire alarms
Plumbing and sprinkler
GC Eng was also responsible for the construction inspection services to ensure the project was compliant with both the NYC-BC 2008 and the 1968 Controlled Inspections, 27-345 Codes.
